
The Pond
The Gang Warily coarse fishing pond is stocked with Carp to 26lb, Tench, Roach, and Rudd.
The pond can be fished all year round except between 1 pm and 5 pm on Wednesday and Sunday when it is also used by the Model Boat Club. During those times fishing is still permitted at the rear of the pond

The Waterside Model Boat Club
The Waterside Model Boat Club meets pondside on Wednesday and Sunday afternoon between 1 pm – 5pm
The Rules for the use of the Ponds
- Ticket allows fishing of both Gang Warily and Holbury Manor Ponds
- Maximum 2 rod limit – Strictly no unattended rods
- Fishermen aged 12 years and over must hold a valid Fishing Rod Licence; there are several ways to buy these including from participating Post Office branches or online at https://www.gov.uk/buy-a-uk-fishing-rod-licence or by telephone from the Environment Agency 0844 800 5386
- Ponds belonging to Fawley Parish Council are open between dawn and dusk – No night fishing is permitted.
- Barbless hooks only.
- No sacking or retaining of fish, and no keep nets allowed.
- Fish to be kept out of the water for minimum time.
- Make sure that you have ALL safety equipment for fish captures and handling; i.e. forceps, disgorger. Carp anglers must also carry a carp mat, weigh sling and landing net of 42in. Please wet ALL carp mats and slings.
- No cutting or disturbance of bank side flora of climbing trees.
- No litter, fires, BBQ’s, heating or cooking items that would cause damage to the ground are permitted – Please take all your litter home.
- No wading in the ponds belonging to Fawley Parish Council.
- Please respect your surroundings and that of other anglers/model boaters – i.e. no shouting or loud music and keeping within your swim area.
- Fawley Parish Council does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to anglers or their equipment.
- Checks of equipment may be undertaken – we reserve the right of refusal to fish if tackle is deemed unsuitable.
- We reserve the right to terminate your permit if you are in any way causing a disturbance or harm to other anglers, other people, grounds, fish, ponds or property. You will not be eligible for a refund and you may incur costs for any damage caused.
- No tents, bivouacs or other structures are permitted unless with the express permission of the council.
