Meet the Fleet!
Fawley Parish Council has recently upgraded its fleet vehicles, making noteworthy changes to their transportation choices. The council has opted to replace their older, bulkier diesel panel vans with smaller and lighter options. The new vans, although secondhand, are more efficient and environmentally friendly. One is a 1.2L petrol van, specifically intended for towing purposes. The other is a fully electric van, which aligns with the council’s commitment to sustainability. Additionally, the utility vehicle in the fleet is also electric, it will serve the areas of Gang Warily and Newlands Fields. This shift towards electric and more compact vehicles demonstrates the council’s dedication to reducing emissions and embracing eco-friendly alternatives.
