Long Lane Holbury – revised plans of HCC
Thank you to everyone who wrote in and attended the pop up in Long Lane to look at the plans. Your messages have been received by Hampshire County Council and the plans have been revised. In summary:
- the proposals will now see the long Lane service road made one way northbound from the junction of Southbourne Avenue to just south of the junction with Larch Avenue.
- there will be two short sections of modal filters which will prohibit vehicles from entering the area. The first of these is located 20 metres south of Southbourne Avenue leading to the COOP car park access. The other one will be located from the junction of Waltons Avenue to a point 10 metres south of that point.
Hampshire County Council are preparing to advertise the proposed changes shortly we will keep you updated on when those are available.
