Salary Scale JNC 6-8, £19,631 – £20,589 pa pro rata

This post is an opportunity to work alongside and focus on young people in the parish of Fawley planning, delivering and evaluating a wide range of youth & community work.
We are interested in hearing from people who are team players with positive attitudes, who have energy, commitment and creativity to motivate young people to learn new skills and develop their abilities.
The post is for 16 hours per week, which are to be worked flexibly.
The successful candidate will need to consult with all local young people to establish their needs and then work in partnership to set up and run activities including a weekly youth session in term time and a holiday club during school holidays, alongside a team of recruited volunteers.
This role includes working evenings and weekends as and when required.
All applicants will ideally have a recognised youth work qualification (or be willing to work towards this) and must be prepared to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Vacancy – Operations Manager
Fawley Parish Council has a vacancy for an Operations Manager at the Gang Warily Recreation & Community Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join the operations management team at Gang Warily.
We are looking for a motivated, customer focused individual to not only assist with the day-to-day operation of the centre but to improve and develop the leisure activities that it offers.
A Level 2 Fitness Instructor’s qualification is essential for this position.
Previous experience in the leisure industry would also be advantageous along with experience of staff supervision and further fitness qualifications such as a Level 3 Personal Training.
The scale for the position is SCP point 7-11, £20,092 – £21,748.
The position is full time, 37 hours per week on a rota basis designed to meet the needs of the Centre.
Commencement date 01/09/2021.
